In this example, I want to explain how can we have many ESXIs on the same cluster, having different VLAN for management or vMotion,
For the first ESXI, Mgmt on VLAN 10 and vMotion on VLAN 20
We have to verify that gateway are well configured, also port 902 for vMotion
For the second ESXI, Mgmt on VLAN 10 and vMotion on VLAN 40
We check also gateway :
Now, let’s try to migrate VM, we are using same VDS for the two ESXI (VLAN 30 is used for the Linux VM)
Select compute ressource :
Every thing is OK for the Port Group 30 :
Finally, theVM is migrated to the second ESXI :
